Had an awesome time with friends! We enjoyed rock climbing and also tried fishing at Loch Lomond. Staff were super helpful, and the food was fresh and tasty. It’s a lovely spot to unwind, but be prepared for no lift access to the upstairs rooms!
My room was uncomfortably hot during my stay, making it hard to sleep well.

The location offers picturesque views over the Gareloch, perfect for a tranquil escape. The expansive grounds make for a nice stroll, your space to unwind at any point of the day.
The bathroom needed some serious attention, with visible mold and dated fixtures. My room—though spacious—had a shockingly hard mattress that made getting a good night's sleep a challenge. Breakfast often ran low on selections, and my cooked choices were greasy, leaving much to be desired in terms of quality. Plus, the adjacent church clock chimes every 15 minutes, which turned my supposed peaceful getaway into a sleep-deprived affair.

Perfect views, but not all stars shine
The sea view from our king room was breathtaking! Breakfast hit the spot, but the staff seemed a bit clueless at times. Our bathroom was kinda shabby, and that water color? Yikes! Those sharp tiles need replacing for sure.
